Dodo is the dog who introduced me to the world of Rhodesian Ridgebacks. I heard of this breed for the first time at the university, where we had a lot of students from SAR. They brought lots of pictures from home, and in them I saw these amazing dogs - tall, built, muscular, and absolutely gorgeous!!!

That was first time I realized that my dream breed really existed - I just haven't met it yet! I asked my friends what kind of dogs those were, and they told me that it was "nothing unusual, just this local breed called Rhodesian Ridgeback." Of course, after that moment I started researching this breed by every means available to me. The more I read about RRs, the more I realized that this breed was meant for me.

Dodo is a very sweet boy! He is always eager to please, especially when it comes to cuddling up and sharing the coach. Dodo loves obedience, and he started his training by attaining his Canine Good Citizen at the 2008 RR Rodeo. He has one of the gentlest temperaments that I have encountered in my life. I hope to continue his obedience training, and maybe try endurance trials with this boy in the near future.

Dodo has shown in AKC ring a lot, and holds a UKC CH title. He was the dog who introduced my 6 y.o. daughter Gabby to the world of junior handlers, and he still loves to be handled by her during our walks! Dodo is neutered and not available at stud.
